A CALL TO RENEWSupport is Growing! As the B.C. Legislature meets for a brief lame-duck session, support for Heritage BC’s campaign to revive the province’s flagging heritage program continues to grow. In response to last month’s appeal from Heritage BC President, Larry Foster, letters to heritage minister, Margaret MacDiarmid, have been streaming in. In January alone we have received copies of letters from many mayors, heritage and other organizations, professionals, and individuals. At this time, we are working with a number of local governments and municipal associations to get them involved – everyone has said 'yes' so far.
