The 2010 Heritage BC Annual Report is now available online. The report includes the audited statements for fiscal year 2010, which will be presented at the Annual General Meeting on September 30 at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts in Burnaby.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE SEPT 30 - OCT 1, 2011

Heritage Minister Will Speak at the
HBC Annual Conference

The Honourable Steve Thomson, Minister of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations, will speak at the Heritage BC Annual Conference at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 30.

Mr. Thomson’s ministry includes archaeology and heritage conservation.  First elected to the legislature in 2009, Mr. Thomson has been responsible for heritage since March of this year.  He has served as a director of the Kelowna Museum, and his family has owned a heritage farm in Kelowna since 1896.

Don't miss the special tour of Burnaby’s beautiful Deer Lake Park on Saturday October 1 – it's one of the largest municipally-owned heritage precincts in Canada with over 35 heritage buildings and sites.
